The Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC) is a ‘single window ’support system linking with various units of a research institution (Teaching, Research and Extension) with intermediary users and end users (farmers) in decision making and problem solving exercise on various aspects of agricultural and allied practices. Considering the importance of ATIC the ATIC of N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology Kumarganj Faizabad selected purposively for the present study. Since the inception of ATIC highest number of farmers visit from neighboring Faizabad and Sultanpur districts i.e. 835 and 634 respectively till March, 2006. Out of total number of farmers only 10% (142) were chosen for present study. This study reveals that among the various purposes for visiting ATIC, higher numbers of farmers (84.50%) visited mostly for pest management problems. Visiting farmers has shown most interest in getting seed and planting materials and therefore, they had shown their first preference for this purpose.
