Information input, processing and output behaviour of farmers

In case of often seeking information sources Radio was rank First. Relatives and friends stand second in case of oftenly seeking information. Neighbours, Village Extension workers, T.V., Scientists, Salesman and dealers, Agricultural officer, Progressive farmers were ranked as second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth respectively. Apart from these sources, the other sources like Panchayat officials, Kisan Mela, cooperative officials, BDO, Demonstration Plots, newspaper, Films, Farm journals/Magazines and folder, bulletin & leaflets respectively were oftenly preferred by the farmers. In case of never getting information sources, Folder, bulletin & leaflets, Farm journal/Magazines, Films and Newspaper were ranked as first, second, third and fourth respectively. Apart from these sources, the other sources like Demonstration plots, Cooperative officials, BDO, Panchayat officials, Progressive farmers, Agricultural officer, Salesman and dealers, Kisan Mela, Scientists, Village Extension Workers, T.V., relatives & friends, Neighbours and radio were ranked fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen and eighteenth respectively.

In case of oftenly information evaluation, discussion with Progressive farmers was ranked at first. Discussion with the experts was at second place. Consultations with Magazines/Journals were at third place. In never evaluation case, Consultation with Magazines/Journals, Discussions with the Experts, Discussion with progressive farmers were ranked as first, second and third respectively in never evaluation case. In case of oftenly storage of information by memorization was at first rank. Practicing the methods were rank second. Printed Materials were ranked as third rank and CD's were ranked as fourth for the storage of information in a new system. In never information storage case, CD's were ranked as first. Printed Materials were ranked as second rank. Apart from these, practicing the methods and Memorizing were ranked third and fourth respectively for never information storage. In case of oftenly information transformation, by normal conversations ranked first. Training/Seminars ranked second in information transformation. In case of never information transformation, by training/seminars ranked first. Normal conversation ranked second in never information transformation.

In case of oftenly information output behaviour, family members, Relatives, friends, Neighbours and neighbour villages were ranked as first, second, third fourth and fifth respectively used oftenly for dissemination of information. In never case, farmers, Neighbours, family members, relatives and friends were stand first, second, third, fourth and fifth respectively for never information output behaviour.
