The study was conducted in Hathras(Now Mahamaya Nagar) district of Uttar Pradesh state in the year 20092010. Three blocks viz. Sasni, Hathras and Sikandrarao, consisted the study area. The sample size of the study was two hundred fifty self help group members drawn from 50 SHG ’s by proportionate random sampling technique. The information was collected with the help of a structured interview schedule. Majority of the SHG's members often use the Radio, Television, news paper and Tape recorder. Majority of SHG members were never exposed to educational films (29.51per cent) followed by Agricultural Magazine (28.94 per cent). Majority of selected SHG members (64.80 per cent) had medium level of source of information utilized and 17.60 percent selected SHG members had high level and low level of jointly source of information utilized.
