Transfer of technology happens to be significantly correlated with ‘flow of information ’taking place at several stages, viz-from the research-station (i.e. Laboratory) to the implementing extension agency; from the extension agency to the end-users, at the field level (i.e. Land) from the clientele to the extensionists and/or researchers (in the form of ‘Feedback); etc. In this context, one particular fact assumes great significance, that is, how the researchers/scientists acquire the relevant information on their part. With this in view, this study was visualized in order to ascertain the ‘communication pattern ’among scientists vis-à-vis acquisition of information. The study focused on various sources of communication being utilized by scientists, along with its perceived credibility as well as frequency of utilization of all such sources.
