In general, we tend to believe that improvisation of technology (ies) and/or ability to innovate happen to be the sole prerogative of researchers/scientists. But this is a myth since the grassroot innovators may do the same, albeit the approach (es) applied by them may vary: Whenever they face problem, they develop solutions to that particular problem with the help of trial and error method. On this prospect, this study was conducted to find out such improvised technologies which are developed by farmers. The study helped in documentation of a number of varieties of wheat, paddy, pigeon pea and mustard which have been developed by farmers at field-level.
