The present study was undertaken in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh to know the information sources used by the maize growers. 120 farmers were considered as respondents for this study. Respondents were interviewed through personal interview. Collected data were analyzed with the help of suitable statistical methods. The study revealed that the maximum number of respondents (61.66%) had medium level of extension contact. 34.16 per cent of the respondents made contact with R.A.E.O's 2–3 times in a year. 58.33 per cent of respondents were receiving the information related maize production technology from radio.
