Abstract

The study was conducted on 8 dairy co-operative societies of the Sri Visakha Dairy located in eight villages of two mandals(Munagapaka & Chodavaram) of Visakha district of Andhra Pradesh. The study is carried out to understand the impact of technology disseminated through dairy cooperatives on knowledge level and socio economic conditions of member milk producers in comparison to nonmembers. The sample study consisted of 60 member milk producers and 40 non-members. Ex-post facto research design (Snedecor and Cochran 1986) was adapted for the analysis of data.
