Farmers's Fair an important tool in transferring technologies to farmers is gaining over the years. A large amount of money is involved in this extension activity. To analyze the impact of Farmers fair on participants a study was undertaken at Pantnagar University in Uttarakhand during 2011, involving fifty randomly selected farmers. The source of information, usefulness and their opinion on selected dimension of farmers fair, reasons for participation and suggestions made were elicited from the participants by personal interview method. The results indicated that majority of farmers were of middle age group had education upto Intermediate level and got information through Newspaper [94 per cent]. More than fifty per cent of the farmers perceived that information received at farmers ’fair on Agricultural implements and machineries, Kisan Gosthi and Information on Pesticide, Mixed Farming were more useful. Majority of farmers expressed that they have participated in farmers fair to see the latest agriculture machineries and implements [94 per cent]. Cent per cent of the farmer's expressed that experienced guides should be provided for each farmers group for effective supervision. This will improve the effectiveness of farmers ’fair and will lead to enhance the adoption of technology by the farmers.
