Agriculture communication at the cross roads: Need for a support channel

The present study was conducted in Haryana state. Possible sources were studies and a village which was situated less than 25 km. away from KVK and Agriculture University (Kissan Sewa Kendra), the signals of Hisar FM Radio and Hisar Doordarshan reached to this villae, where ‘Danik Jagran’ and ‘Danik Bhaskar’ newspaper reached, the village Jakhod Khera was selected for the study. From the interview of 200 farmers it was found in the study that the majority of the respondents were media have nots. The serious problem also find out during research that if the farmers did not about KVK in the circle of 25 km, problem was serious.
