Abstract

The present study was conducted for exploring the cosmopoliteness of selected innovative farmers. Grass-root innovators are engaged in solving the day-to-day problems of their locality and/or searching the cost-effective solutions. It is interesting to know that why only few farmers are able to come up with innovative ideas. That means, they have some additional attributes. Cosmopolite nature of an individual, clearly indicates that (s) he is having well connected mass-media exposure. For this particular study, the "case study" method was adopted. Majority of the innovative farmers were having good exposure of Kisan Melas, Kisan Sangosthis, field-exposure visits and Seminars/Conferences/workshops/interfaces except Dairy Melas.
