Abstract

In this paper an attempt is made to evaluate how far rural women in the grass roots contributing for the development of agriculture sector with inherent gender disparities. It tries to formulate the latest devices for information reach to overcome the problem of women's invisibility towards the application of appropriate innovations on the farm sector to sustain gender neutrality. Different methods of information reach made the rural women as a self reliant and sustain socio-economic system. The participatory communication sensitizes the application of various methods in agricultural practicum and reduces the gender gap in information reach. This will bring "A more informed citizenry is in a better position to exercise its rights and better able to carry out its responsibilities within the community", which are essential for the empowerment of rural women.
