Abstract

This study was conducted in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh state, to know the communicational behavior in context of agriculture information used by the recommended cauliflower growers. It was confined in out of seven blocks, two blocks were purposively selected i.e. Ambikapur and Batouli on the basis of stratified random sampling. From each block 8 villages and from each village 30 per cent farmerswere randomly selected, hence total 160 cauliflower growers were interviewed personally. Both questionnaires and personal interviews were performed for data collection. Data were analyzing through appropriate statistical methods viz. mean, frequency, average, percentage etc. Majority (64.37%) of the respondents utilized medium level of information sources, majority (88.12%) respondents does not use bank worker for information, majority (73.12%) occasionally use training and visit as information source, majority (93.76%) respondents takes information daily from his neighbour.
