Care of pregnant and lactating women is vitally important for the health of the new born baby. Care before and during pregnancy has greater potential for a long term health impact than it does at any other time. The mother receives good care which will support the stamina that nursing an infant demands and that there is a need to educate lactating women. In present study, developed an e-booklet on ‘Care of Pregnant and Lactating Women ’it's an effective method to generate women about topic. An e-booklet is portable and more safely stored and carried from one place to another. An e-booklet is attractive way to present the subject matters. An e-booklet was developed and field tested for its readability and comprehension For measuring readability and comprehension of an e-booklet, the respondents were selected from rural areas. There were 20 respondents pregnant and lactating selected purposively educated up to 5th and above standard. Majority of the respondents 70 per cent could read the e-booklet fluently. The weighted mean score of respondents was 2.6 out of maximum score 3. Majority of the respondents (90 to 100%) were able to comprehend all key messages of the e-booklet.
