Abstract

Maximum numbers of the NGOs (KVKs) were found to have modest infrastructure of ICTs followed by ICAR (KVKs). Majority of the KVKs were found to have modest accessibility of ICTs followed by KVKs keyed up accessibility level, maximum numbers of the KVKs were found to have keyed up individual accessibility of ICTs followed by KVKs had modest accessibility at personal level. IT can help by enabling the extension workers to gather, store, retrieve and disseminate a broad range of information needed by farmers, thus transforming the extension workers into knowledge workers.
