A study on attitudinal inclination of the farmers of Kamrup district of Assam towards Animal Husbandry Programmes in television was conducted in four developmental blocks situated to the east, west, north and south directions of Guwahati, by collecting 25 respondents each from the selected blocks making the total sample size of 100. It was found that majority of the farmers showed highly favourable attitude towards the Animal Husbandry programmes in television with the mean score of 54.23 out of maximum obtainable scores of 60 in pooled sample. Maximum number of respondents (83 per cent) stated that young farmers should watch A.H. programmes in T.V. to take up A.H.as a means of self employment. 82 per cent of the respondents agreed that using scientific methods shown in A.H. programmes in TV can generate higher profit. All these agreements gave an idea that the farmers of Kamrup districts of Assam had highly favourable attitude towards the Animal Husbandry programmes
