From the study it was observed that, majority of readers subscribed were from medium to old age group, having medium to high education level, having medium to high size of land holding, belonged to high income group, low to medium social participation and had medium to high family education index. The subscribers had given first preference to the topics on ‘plant protection’, second preference to the topics on ‘cultivation of agronomical crops’, third preference to the topics on ‘agriculture schemes and government policy’ and at the last, subscribers gave preference to the topics on ‘success stories of progressive farmers’.
