Abstract

The entertainment-education communication strategy is still an enigma. This strategy has shown the promise. In order to know the importance of entertainment farm education programmes of television, the present study was conducted in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. A total of 150 respondents were finally selected for recording their responses towards entertainment farm education programmes of television. It was found that the majority of farmers liked the methods of using insecticides and pesticides to be telecasted through entertainment. It was also found that Krishi Darshan mostly liked by the farmers.
