Abstract

The profile of the selected farmers was of medium level interims of age, education, cosmopoliteness, belief orientation, size of land holding and social Participation. The study indicated that majority of the beneficiaries belonged to general/obc caste having, low category of media credibility, and mostly belonged to low level of of innovativeness. The study highlighted that the television proved the most useful instrument in transfer of the recommended agricultural technology among the farmers, resulted in high rate of adoption as compared to radio and newspaper,
