Mobile in the hand of farmers

Results revealed that farmers possessed a wide range of mobile sets. The features of text message, games and FM radio were present in all the mobile sets. All the respondents had knowledge of call receiving and making. However, 10 percent respondent lacked the skill of call making. All the selected independent variables correlated significantly with mobile use except attitude towards mobile. The variable extension contact had highest contribution towards variability in mobile use.
