Abstract

Majority of farmers used Television for recreation and entertainment, Mobile Phone and Landline for social communication. While none of the respondents in both the regions use Nokia Life tools/IFFCO Airtel Kisan Card to solve their queries related to agriculture or animal husbandry. In plain region more than one-third respondents use mobile phone for calling KCC (Kisan Call Centre) while in hilly regions none of the respondent was found to use KCC.
