Abstract

The study revealed that 55.55 percent of the total respondents adopted the improved sheep rearing practices to medium level where as, 28.33 and 16.12 percent of total respondents to low and high level respectively. It was also observed that the extent of adoption in non-adopted farmers was 31.38 to 89.04% while in case of adopted the extent of adoption was observed to be 31.04 to 91.05% in all improved sheep rearing practices. The study further indicated that there were significant differences between adopted and non-adopted farmer with regards to adoption of scientific rearing practices.
