The important constraints reported by most of the sugarcane growers were the lack of knowledge about control of white grub in sugarcane and lack of knowledge about biological predators in the field to control white grub. The important suggestions made by the sugarcane growers were the plant protection measures on white grub management should be communicated to the farmers through demonstrations and disease and pest forecasting by state agriculture department and state agricultural universities.
