In a rapidly growing information society, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a pivotal role in all aspects of our life. This review summarizes the relevant research on the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in education. Specifically, it reviews the studies that touched the merits of ICT integration, barriers or challenges encountered in the use of ICT, factors influencing ICT integration, drawbacks of using ICT in education system and Students perception toward ICT.
