Abstract

The study focusses on socio-economic status of farmers in relation to utilization of mass media for obtaining information regarding agricultural innovations and relative credibility of selected mass-media. On the basis of adoption index, majority of respondents belong to category of medium level of agriculture adoption. Results indicate that acceptability of television information was relatively higher, followed by radio and newspaper due to audio-video presentation and pace of content coverage.
