Information seeking behaviour of wheat growers in north-west Himalayas

The study revealed the superiority of the neighbours and local leaders in information seeking behavior. The analysis also revealed that the KVK was perceived as the third most information provider followed by village level worker which came fourth. It also exhibits that the mass media channels like radio, newspaper and television are still being considered as the good information source but unfortunately the print media like farm magazines are still not preferred among the farming community.
