Abstract

Out of twelve variables viz., education, experience in livestock management, social participation, land holding, annual income, extension contact, mass media exposure, economic motivation, scientific orientation and risk orientation were positively and highly significantly correlated with knowledge level. Majority of the livestock owners had very low to medium level of knowledge regarding vaccination and improved animal healthcare practices.
