Comprehensive awareness of farmers regarding bio-fertilizers

Various aspects of awareness like awareness about method of application, awareness about type of biofertilizers, awareness about enrichment of manure with bio-fertilizers, awareness about source of availability, awareness about advantage of bio-fertilizers and awareness about precaution while using bio-fertilizers were included in the study and the result showed that more than half of the respondents had medium level of overall awareness regarding bio-fertilizers. The characteristics like age, cosmo politeness, size of family and achievement motivation were found positively non significant and education, social participation, mass media contact and training received, were found positively significant, whereas annual income and land holding were found positively highly significant.
