The results showed that nearly half of the respondents were between age of 51–60. About 70 percent of the respondent had 1–20 numbers of people in their household. Also, 37.9 percent of the respondents had only Koranic education, while majority of them had been in millet farming for 11–15 years. Radio and television were the major media information sources of farmers. The findings reveal that majority of the respondents utilized only one media source, followed by two media sources.
