Knowledge and adoption behaviour of tribal cashew growers

The survey of 80 randomly selected growers revealed that overall 21.56 per cent farmers completely knew the cashew plantation technology, 65.47 per cent farmers had partial knowledge while 12.97 per cent farmers did not know the production technology. The adoption of the complete technology was 17.97 per cent. The partial adoption was reported to be higher as 48.28 per cent and 33.75 per cent farmers had not adoped the recommended cashew technology.
