Ekalavya consists of two parts-Editor and Player. Editor allows the Domain Experts to prepare contents in any vernacular. The contents are kept in an intermediate repository. Player takes the output of the Editor as well as takes into consideration the usability aspects and presents the content directly to the end-user. LCMS CD on Management of Vegetable Disease in seven languages prepared which were sent for validation to scientists of State Agricultural Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Non-Government Organizations and Progressive Farmers. Their feedback was taken on relevance, completeness, understandability, accuracy, integration of media and interactivity. Over 80% respondents expressed their satisfaction.
