The level of media source utilization on the productivity of millet farmers of Nigeria

Abstract

The results showed that nearly half (42.2%) of the respondents were between age of 51–60. About 70 percent of the respondent had 1–20 numbers of people in their household. Also, 37.9 percent of the respondents had only Koranic education, while majority (31%) of them had been in millet farming for 11–15 years. Majority (65.8%) of the respondents had contact with extension agent but not too frequent. The result also shows that the mean credit need of the respondents was 69, 208: 00 but were only able to receive 18, 451: 00 averagely.
