Abstract

The data depicts that, the respondents mainly used the android phones of local company with mostly single SIM. Majority of the respondents had used more than one service provider and factors considered for choosing the service provider were mainly network coverage and quality service. Cellular services were essential mostly for personal and farming purposes. Mostly used mobile service were SMS, voice calls and internet among WSHG members. Majority of the respondents used mobile apps daily and downloaded useful information. The mobile apps were used mostly for social networking and advisory services on agriculture and health, only few assessed information on the livestock farming through mobile apps.
