SWOT Analysis was carried out to assess the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of agricultural higher education in Telangana State. Hence, there is a need for adequate allocation of resources for providing quality education through budget allocation, reducing the gap between the strength of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professors, and capacity building of agricultural faculty. In this context this paper describes the status of Agricultural higher education in Telangana State highlighting the challenges and suggesting strategies to overcome them.
