The study found that television is playing a significant role as a media of film promotion. It is also being found that through film promotional programmes it is increasing its own popularity. As majority of the respondents said they verify the information shown on television with internet, film makers can make best use of this medium to promote their movie. This research also revealed that cinema promotional programmes inspired them to listen to the music. Therefore, efforts can be made by concerned people to market music more extensively through television. It is proved that as an audio-visual media television is a successful platform for another audio-visual media's promotional activity.
