The results of the study revealed that at overall level, three fourth (75.62 per cent) of the farmer readers suggested to ‘give more coverage to farm information’. This was followed by the major suggestions namely, ‘success stories of farmers be published in more number’ (68.75 per cent), ‘a regular column on suggestions to farmers be published’ (64.37 per cent), ‘latest information about markets for farm commodities be given daily’ (51.87 per cent). In case of Loksatta,less than three fourth (72.50 per cent)farmer readers suggested thatmore coverage be given to farm information,followed by the major suggestions namely,success stories of farmers be published in more number (65.00 per cent), a regular column on suggestions to farmers be introduced (61.25 per cent). Regarding Maharashtra Times, more coverage be given to farm information(78.75 per cent)was the major suggestion,followed by success stories of farmers be published in more number (72.50 per cent) and a regular column on suggestions to farmers be introduced (67.50 per cent).
