Abstract

The study on communication behavior of SHG members indicated that training and NGOs officials were their major source of information under personal cosmopolite source Convener, animator and representatives were their major utilized personal be source while television, radio posters and charts were the most utilized impersonal cosmopolite sources. Trained women, untrained women and family members were highly preferred persons to whom the members shared information regarding S activities and farm activities. Training organization may provide opportunity for the of mass media sources. Hence the mass media contact of the trainees was found. To be moderate compared to other sources.
