Effect of child-to-parent communication technique on awareness related to health of parents

The study highlights the importance of local adaptation of health n initiatives being informed by a detailed and sensitive understanding of the social, cultural and environmental contexts within which programmes implemented and depicts the way in which the acceptability of children as health educators within their family and community needs to be strengthened. A more relevant indigenous pedagogy needs to be developed that takes more of account of a child's traditional upbringing and worldview.
