Abstract

Field experiment was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of insecticides & botanicals in managing aphid & leaf minor in pea. Among the various treatments, imidacloprid 50g a.i./ha was found superior in reducing the aphid population & leaf minor damage during both the seasons (Rabi 2012 & 13). The botanicals were found to be least effective in controlling the both pests. The maximum per field was recorded from plots treated with imidacloprid. Imidacloprid 50g a.i./ha was found most effective in both the years against pea aphid and leaf miner and also produced maximum yield.
