The main objective of this article is to analyse the data information and computer security measures, organisational, physical and technological in university libraries at Tamil Nadu. It is safe to assume that the current research will help in developing the security gaps in data information at libraries under study. The topic and guidelines inter-related to carry out the Policy of Information Security are presented based on the results that were obtained through this research, by going to libraries for filling in application forms and to comprise information whose content was analysed. However, it summits that the findings of this research will not only set the university librarians in the path to develop their security measures on data information, but also open the opportunities for improving data information and system security in this modern era, so that they can go beyond the boundaries being put in front of librarians.
