This study narrates the historical development of mosque libraries in Nigeria with a focus on the Abuja National Mosque Library, as authors had a discussion section with the librarian in charge of the Abuja National Mosque library. It also stated some of the benefits of mosque libraries in the Muslim community, with some challenges being faced in the management of the mosque library and lastly provide some recommendations on how to improve the functions and services of the mosque libraries in the entire country.
