The electronic National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) aims to transform agricultural marketing in India by enhancing transparency, efficiency, and price realization. However, adoption remains slow and uneven. This study analyses factors influencing e-NAM adoption among a sample of 400 farmers in Haryana using a binary logistic regression model. Key positive determinants include education, landholding size, farming experience, smartphone ownership, training frequency, awareness of e-NAM, and even commission agent dependency. In contrast, owning a Kisan Credit Card and distance to APMC negatively influenced adoption, though not all effects were statistically significant. Variables such as FPO membership, loan access (bank or commission agent), basic mobile ownership, and private market selling showed no significant impact. These findings highlight the complex nature of digital adoption in agriculture and the need for targeted interventions, particularly in education, training, digital access, and awareness, to boost e-NAM uptake and enable a more inclusive digital transformation.
