Abstract

The maps developed by sending questionnaire to the participant to COST Action FA0807 reported the spread of the five main phytoplasmas in grapevine and fruit trees in Europe and neighboring region and their confirmed and putative insect vectors. Phytoplasma distribution data are presented in maps based on the molecular detection of the agent in plant samples in the different countries. Vector data in maps are mainly based on the presence of species proven as competent vectors during transmission trials. All data are collected in a dedicated web site.
