Abstract

The nature of employment and working patterns have changed in the modern period, making jobs more difficult. The company’s hostile, competitive, and aggressive work atmosphere puts employees’ ability to keep a healthy work–life balance at risk and demands all of their attention (WLB). Over the past 50 years, research on work–life balance has blossomed due to changes in gender roles, families, jobs, and professional choices. Numerous reviews of the literature on WLB have been done by researchers in this field. One argument is that WLB research is still enmeshed in a conceptual haze. As a result, theory and study only examine a subset of the needs and experiences that workers have with regard to work–life balance. Despite the abundance of research on work–life balance, many people still have difficulty achieving it. The current study is to demonstrate the impact of work–life interference on professor burnout in order to guide future research. The study’s sample size, which was 168, was established using the stratified random sampling technique. According to the results of the survey, the two main causes are an unreasonably lengthy journey and a dearth of cash rewards.
