Abstract

The Present paper explores the effect of Globalization on women. This study is based on respondents from different strata of the society of Jhunjhunu District in Rajasthan State.

The impact of Globalization on women today, in respect of their education, social, cultural and economic status with the concept of marriage, drastic change is visible. Views concerning late marriage, after marriage space for freedom had indebted the feeling of contract not sanskar. They want to live in Nuclear family instead of joint family, means Miya, Bibi aur Bacche. By participating in politics, they are becoming aware about their legal rights and voting behavior.
