The ideology, which attracted Hindi literature of 20 th century most was Socialism. Socialism emphasized on equality, social justice, and end of social and economic exploitation. Many a movements in Hindi literature like Pragativad, Janvad, Stri-Vimarsh, Dalit-Vimarsh etc. had basically the idea of socialism. This literature has broken many a stereotypes and narrow boundaries and has brought a social change through all types of literature whether it is poetry or prose.
