Abstract

Biologically there is no discrimination between male and female, but the proportion of females is low as compared to males since 1901. Due to social injustice invarious forms, the populationof womenis lessthan men. Women are lagged behind in the field of education, employment and social status in the society. The value of females in the society is less than the males therefore their demand is also low. The reasons for such low value are social, religious, economic, and political. Females are not treated at par with males at the time of socialization. They get comparatively less opportunity for education and employment. The political structure of the society severally remains reluctant to improve the socio-economic status of women. In this paper it has been tried to explore the reasons for violence against women and social injustice among them.
