Abstract

Culture is created by human beings. Culture refers to such deeds through which human welfare can be achieved. Indian culture is very fruitful as far as human well being is concerned. Culture improves human personality and human relation. Our culture inculcates how we can save our natural environment. Our culture includes the values of non-violence, satisfaction and truth. These values are helpful insocial integration. The western culture is entirely different; it focuses on material gain instead of human gain. Undue necessities lead to over commodification. Poverty, environmental, pollution, population explosion and terrorism etc. are the result of undue aspirations. There is urgent need to glorify our ancient culture which provides social solidarity and overall welfare.
