Due to increase in life expectancy in India, the population of elderly people have been increased. According to an estimate it will be twenty five percent of the total population. It is painful truth, that due to modern life style and valueless ethics elderly are facing social and economic problem. Now it has become the global problem though it has not become very sensitive issue till yet, in India. The present paper tries to investigate the condition and problems of elderly in India.
