In Nepal the Royals ruled in the infant democratic structure on the name of Panchayti system. The constitution of Nepal of 1990 had made provisions of democratic government. The real power was handed over to the people of Nepal, by the constitution but the monarchy was the centre of authoritarian rule because it the constitutional head on the basis of parliamentary system. The present paper tries to explore historically & analytically the constitution of Nepal made in 1990.
