In present competitive and struggling world, it is the need of the hour to establish the importance of moral values to lead a peaceful and systematic life. Human values can not be sustained only by imposing every responsibility to particular state or the constitution of the state, rather it is our duty to inculcate and conserve in ourselves high ideals of human culture. The sovereignty of ‘Rit’ is to remind us that people should not ignore human values claiming themselves as citizen of sovereign state. Attention to be paid that the modern thought of sovereignty is the result of decline of religious unity supported by church in medieval period. Our main motive is to develop moral unity in human being. In Vedic age, Aryans had some unique ideals and thoughts which prevailed in their religious life. One of the most important thought was the ‘Doctrine of Rit‘. It is mentioned in Vedic literature several times that everything in the world is arranged and managed by certain ‘systems’ or ‘laws’. This system’ or ‘law’ is mentioned as Rit in Rigveda.
